Families across Nepal have lost loved ones, homes and access to essential services after catastrophic flash floods swept through parts of the country.
Communities now face urgent shortages of food, water, shelter and medical care. Emergencies often place women and children at increased risk of exploitation and trafficking.
Nuwakot District, where Adara’s work in Ghyangfedi is based, has been badly affected by the wider disaster. Areas are remote and difficult to access even in normal conditions.
Adara is responding, supporting immediate needs such as food, safe water, child protection, sanitation, medical care and support for health facilities responding to this crisis.

Families who have fled violence, war and persecution are often then stripped of their basic rights in Australia, while waiting for an outcome to their legal status. People often live this - in limbo for years. During this time, more and more people, without the right to work, become destitute. Women and children are especially vulnerable during this time.
For the past 16 years, the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre (ASRC) has supported and empowered over 3,000 refugees and people seeking asylum every year, helping provide a warm bed, food, education, employment support and much more. The ASRC gives them hope for a safer, brighter future.

41% of sexually active 14–18 year olds in Australia report having 'unwanted' sex. Research shows that adolescent perpetration is higher than ever, and on the rise.
We operate on the belief that the majority of peer-on-peer sexual violence between youth can be prevented with education. We envision a world where the entitlement over another’s body does not outweigh empathy for them.
Teach Us Consent aims to eradicate normalised sexual violence through a comprehensive Australia-wide awareness campaign. This campaign will take our digital messaging into physical assets to be implemented across key locations including schools, universities, college campuses, nightlife venues, sports clubs and corporate spaces.
Every $1 invested will enable us to reach over 100 individuals with our message, fostering a safer environment through increased awareness and education.
